The Oasis serves as the main hub/base of operations for Hoshizaki Ao and her friends in Blue Reflection Tie. As with the first game, it has a school as its main setting.

Description

The Oasis is a shelter built by the sisters Shijō Yuzuki and Shijō Raimu with the help of other Reflectors who answered their call for help, to protect them from the Ash before they can come up with a plan to save the world from the Ash. It seems to be modelled after a school from the Reflectors memories, albeit on a slightly smaller scale. It serves as the Reflectors base and the place connecting all the other Heartscapes together.

Plot Significance

It was intended as a last resort shelter for the Reflectors until they can find a way to stop the Ash and discover more about it. Initially meant to house all the Reflectors at once, complications arose which results in the Reflectors being scattered across various Heartscapes, with Miyauchi Rena, Kinjou Yuki, and Utsubo Kokoro the only ones being transported to the Oasis, albeit without any memories apart from their names and some basic skills, nor any recollection of how they got there.

Prior to the beginning of the events of the game, Ao wanders into the Oasis seemingly randomly to meet Kokoro, Rena and Yuki. Ao still thinks it was her school until Kokoro takes her along to meet Rena and Yuki in the courtyard and Ao sees and realizes she's been unknowingly transported to an entirely different place. The girls settle in and begin to get acclimated to the place and their new circumstances until one day, a conversation between Kokoro and Ao triggers the appearance of Kokoro's heartscape, which for the lack of a better term initially and the fact that it looks like an entire other world, they dub as "The Faraway". They begin exploring it for supplies and ingredients and hopefully find answers for Ao, who seems to be the only one to retain her memories, to travel home. They eventually learn the nature of the Faraway, which Ao renamed as Heartscapes, when Kokoro, who recently regained her memories points out they can't use the former name after learning how it was created. Kokoro regaining her memories and her Fragment also causes a reaction in the Oasis, which manifests as a crack appearing in the "sky."

The girls then try to figure out how to trigger other Heartscapes and set about building ideas they have in order to trigger Heartscapes. Meanwhile Ao discovers they're not the only ones living in the school when she encounters Yuzu, who has also lost her memory. Eventually, after they build one Facility modelled after Kokoro's hideout, they inadvertently bring Kasuga Shiho into the Oasis, who has lost her memories in a similar fashion to the original group. Further events involving Shiho and Kokoro trigger the appearance of Shiho's Heartscape, which the girls decide to explore to recover Shiho's memories and uncover more clues as to what happened to them and their world. After they help Shiho recover her Fragment and memories, they receive another similar message to the first time regarding the world destabilizing. Eventually they construct more facilities and one particular facility requested by Shiho, they trigger Shirai Hinako's entry into the Oasis, once again without any memories. Once they unlock Hinako's Heartscape and her memories, they fight an unusually powerful enemy and are met by memories of Yuzu and Lime who give them instructions to save them. Upon their return to the Oasis, the world destabilizes further resulting in a monster appearing through the "crack" in the sky. They barely manage to defeat it and the Oasis seemingly fixes itself. Hinako then partially restores Yuzu's memories and she takes them to see Lime who is in a coma-like state and explains the nature of the Oasis to Ao and the others and explains Lime is keeping the Oasis intact while sleeping but will soon run out of emotional energy to keep the Oasis intact. They are then told to find the rest of the Reflectors and their fragments to save Lime.

They proceed to build more facilities so that they can find the other Reflectors and unlock more Heartscapes in order to obtain more fragments to save Lime. Eventually, they gather Kuno Kirara, Hirahara Hiori, Hirahara Mio, and Komagawa Uta in the Oasis as well while trying to gather the required fragments and at the same time figure out what happened to the rest of the world. Eventually they manage to wake up Lime and the complete nature of the Oasis and how it was created is revealed. It is also revealed that the Oasis is not a permanent solution and has a finite lifespan and that the cracks that occurred have affected the amount of time it has left, resulting in the girls' needing to speed up their efforts to find a solution. Eventually through exploring the rest of the Heartscapes they deduce they need to beat the World System and reset the world to before the Ash started to fall.

They venture into the heart of the World System and eventually beat the final opponent standing in their way and meet up back at the school and find that Oasis itself is falling apart and they have one more day at best. After spending the day together and reminiscing over the memories they made and the adventures they had, the girls all leave the Oasis into the new world they helped create and the Oasis itself ends up getting destroyed having served its purpose.

Area Breakdown

The Oasis is primarily comprised of the school and it's facilities and the various Heartscapes of the girls.

The main school building seems to be a customized version of schools from all the girls' memories although it seems to be primarily a smaller scale version of Hoshinomiya Girl's High School, given that the notice board has references to Hoshinomiya. The building also has a lot less classrooms than you'd expect from a school. It also has areas which cannot be accessed by the girls such as the teachers' room and other areas which are apparently locked. The girls don't try too hard to access them for various reasons. The building's vending machines also appear to restock themselves and seem to work with strange coins the Reflectors find around the Oasis and Heartscapes.

The building has two floors and a rooftop storage. The first floor comprises the work room, the vending machine area, trophy hall, shoe lockers, nurse's office and Classroom 1A, which serves as the girls' primary living area. The work room is where the Reflectors cook food, craft items and build facilities. The second floor contains the library, the media room, writer's club, classroom 2A and other locked rooms such as another classroom and the teacher's room. This floor also contains the school's only washroom.

The rooftop has a storage that's simply referred to as the rooftop storage, which has various items inside ranging from junk and model kits to old televisions to a working computer which doesn't have any connection to the outside world either.

The Oasis has a gymnasium which is completely empty inside with even the board where the school song is supposed to be being completely blank. Apart from that however the gymnasium is completely equipped with all the sports equipment required for the girls to play a variety of games including basketball.

The Oasis is also equipped with a pool beside the gym, complete with functioning showers and a changing room.
