AASA is an abbreviation of the official name Ancient Ark Solving Agency (超古代遺物研究機関, Chō kodai ibutsu kenkyū kikan^?, Ultra-Ancient Relic Research Institute). It is a research institute led by Professor Shijō, the father of Yuzu and Lime. They are investigating the original species (Sephirot).

In the reset world, Professor Shijō is studying rings and asked Momo to give him a ring. They are also investigating the fragment's anomalies.

The AASA developed the "Blue Reflection Ring" through Reflector research, and is similar to the ring used by Shirai Hinako in the first game, which gives the wearer the ability to transform into a Reflector.

Trivia

• AASA is very similar to Resident Evil's TerraSave and its Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA). Both organizations deal with monsters and research unusual phenomenon (Sephirot and Reflectors for AASA, zombies and virus's for BSAA).
